1、Cross-flow closed cooling towerThe height from the top of the packing to the lower edge of the suction section of the fan shall be controlled to be equal to or greater than 0.2 times the diameter of the fan; measures shall be provided to prevent short-circuit airflow from the bottom of the packing to the water surface; the nozzle packing shall form a contraction angle with the vertical central axis of the tower from top to bottom. The dip angles of shrinkage of drip-type filler and film-type filler are 9.11 and 5.6 respectively;

2、countercurrent closed cooling towerThe height of the air flow constriction between the top of the packing and the air drum inlet shall meet the following requirements:

1) When the top cover plate of the tower is flat, the top angle of the airflow contraction section calculated from the top surface of the packing should be less than 90 degrees; When there is a guide ring (umbrella) under the flat cover plate, the top angle of the airflow contraction section calculated from the top surface of the water collection tank can be used between 90 degrees and 110 degrees.

2) When the top cover of the tower is the contraction type above the water collecting pipe, the top angle of the top cover of the contraction section shall be 90~110.

3. With bilateral air intakecountercurrent closed cooling towerAn intermediate windshield diaphragm shall be provided with a distance of 200-300mm from the edge of the diaphragm to the bottom of the packing support beam and a lower edge extending below the level of the tower catch basin.
